Yep, we all made it back safe and sound from Austin, Texas. And I’ll be posting lots of photos etc. We really had a great time at SXSW. But first, I have some exciting news. The illustrations I did a few months ago for the new coffee shop, Tazza Mia, have been installed and they look amazing!

I’m really happy with how they came out. The lovely and incredible Art Director, Risa, who I love working with, also sent me photos of the rest of the shop.

Doesn’t it look amazing? Not only did she design the whole thing, she even helped with blowing the glass lamps! Congratulations Risa! I hope I can visit some day. Don’t you just want to curl up on one of those comfy chairs with a huge latte in one hand, the Sunday Times in the other, and a sandwich in your lap?

Yes!!! I do want to skathe there on that comfy chair with the giant latte and a thick novel and perhaps a nibble, all beneath your fab drawings!
That’s my plan!

These are really nice! I like the way they are drawn on the wall but framed with empty frames – nice idea.
I stopped at Coffee Exchange this morning and got a cup of coffee and a ginger biscuit on my way to work. Pretty soon we can do that together. Yay!

Very nice. I love the framing and what appears to be coffee beans connecting the illustrations over such a large area. Excellent. My wife is coming to Austin in October and I just showed her your photos and she plans to come by for a closer look.
Great job!!!
