Losing such a singular and human voice is very sad! We just read a hilarious piece of Nora’s last week in the WSJ on the tyranny of upgrades, and recently had lunch at Katz’s Deli! Her humor was a gift that has resonated for so long and for so many. I love the quote you posted Gaia, which goes well beyond her comedy.

Lovely post. And that is my favorite line from my favorite Sendak book. That special on him is so amazing. It’s a sad day – I really wished (and hoped) he would live forever also.
